No need to bring anything! Just stop by registration and we’ll have your badge waiting for you by last name.

From Rockville
Take I-495 south into Virginia. Exit at the George Washington Memorial Parkway and follow the signs to Washington. Take I-395 North exit (14th Street Bridge). At the end of the bridge, take the right fork and exit Maine Avenue at the light. Arena Stage is three blocks ahead on the left.

From I-395 in Virginia
Take I-395 to Washington over the 14th Street Bridge. From this point, follow directions from Rockville (above).

From Baltimore
Take the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (I-295) south to Route 50 West. Route 50 becomes New York Avenue; take New York Avenue to I-395 South. Turn left; go through the tunnel and follow the signs to the 7th Street exit. At the light, turn left. At the third light, turn left onto Maine Avenue. Arena Stage is one block ahead on the left.

From Bethesda / Upper NW, DC
Take Massachusetts Avenue towards downtown around Sheridan Circle and Dupont Circle to 9th Street, NW. Turn right onto 9th Street. Follow 9th Street across Constitution Avenue and through the 9th Street Tunnel. Stay in the center lane in the tunnel and follow sign to Maine Avenue. Turn left at the light at Maine Avenue. Arena Stage is three blocks ahead on the left.

From Southern Maryland
Take Suitland Parkway towards Washington and cross the Frederick Douglass Bridge. After the bridge, merge to the far right lane to avoid the underpass and to get to the traffic light at M street. Turn left on M street. Arena Stage is approximately one half mile ahead on the right.

  • 1100 and 1101 Fourth Street, SW – $22
  • 1250-1280 Maryland Ave SW Washington, DC 20024 – $21.00
  • 1201 Maryland Ave Washington, DC 20024 – $22.00
  • 480 L’Enfant Plaza SW, Washington DC 20024 – $30.00 (If you’re searching on GPS, we recommend looking up 430 10th St SW and follow the signs for L’Enfant Plaza parking)
  • 398 6th St SW – Federal Center Plaza (near the Holiday Inn) – $20
  • 600 Maryland Ave – Entrance is at the intersection of 6th and C St SW – $25.

Street Parking
Street parking is scarce around Arena Stage due to the extensive construction nearby on the Wharf. Water Street is no longer an option for parking at all. Please allow yourself extra time if you plan to park on the streets. Please read signage carefully and observe parking restrictions. Arena Stage is not responsible for the condition of parking meters on neighborhood streets.

Metrorail
The Waterfront station, on the Green line, is located one block East of Arena Stage at 4th and M Streets. Due to construction in the area, the best access from the Waterfront Metro Station to Arena Stage is via M Street. Plan your trip on Metrorail.

Metrobuses
Stops are located directly in front of the theater, and across from and slightly north of the theater entrance. Plan your trip on Metrobus.

Taxi
Arena Stage will gladly call taxis for patrons. Reservation forms can be found in the theater lobby and should be filled out before the performance. Service will depend on the response of the taxi company.

  • Opening Reception: Wednesday, September 6th from 5:15pm-6:30pm
  • Morning Coffee Social: Thursday, September 7th from 7:30am-8:30am

  • Closing Reception: Thursday, September 7th from 5:20pm-6:30pm

There will be free Wi-Fi available throughout the event space.

  • Snacks will be provided at the opening beer & wine reception on Wednesday.
  • Light Breakfast will be available from 7:30am – 8:30am on Thursday morning.
  • Box Lunch is provided during the Thursday keynote for all attendees (Pre-Conference attendees will also receive a box lunch on Wednesday).
  • Coffee & tea service will be available during various breaks throughout the conference.
  • Closing Reception will take place immediately following the final sessions on Thursday.

Folks that require special assistance (nursing moms, accessibility, allergies, etc.) can email autumn@techmediaco.com to provide advance notice.

You’ll find a range of attire at the conference but generally most attendees are in business casual. Temperatures in venues fluctuate, so we advise to be prepared with layers.

Attendees will receive an email within one week of event closing with a post-event survey and access information to view presentations via a secure portal from the Digital Summit website. Please note that presentations will not be available to download, but will be available for viewing for 6 weeks after the event.

It’s of utmost importance to us that the conference be informative, valuable and fun for all. If there is anything we can do to make for a better experience, please let us know by filling out our post-event survey immediately following the conference. We read EVERY one, and use them to shape our future conferences.
