Prarthana has over 12 years’ experience working in digital marketing and communications, on both the brand side and on agency side. She has helped brands across a number of industries to build engagement, income and loyalty through digital and social channels. She has worked on campaigns and digital strategies for the retail, services, education, hospitality and NGO sectors. Prarthana has worked cross-functionally on digital projects across the globe and has experience working with markets in the Americas, Europe, MENA, Africa and APAC. Prarthana currently serves as Global Digital Officer at UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. Her remit is to strategically support UNHCR’s global teams to ensure that digital channels and platforms are used most effectively to achieve UNHCR's communications, advocacy and fundraising targets, at a time when displacement is the highest on record. Prarthana holds a Master of Global Media Communication from the University of Melbourne in Australia.
